I'm currently engaged in PhD study at the Institute of Education in London. I am interested in the cultural semiotic analysis of students' meaning making practices as authors and consumers of digital texts.
I am interested in the contexts and cultures of formal and informal learning and the ways in which these are negotiated by learners through technology use. I am particularly interested in Web 2.0 technologies and content sharing technologies. My focus lies in the concept of learners as authors and consumers of digital content and the ways in which they use, share and remediate digital texts.
